Summary
Printed Christmas card designed by Beatrix Potter for the Invalid Children's Aid Association, for the years 1932 and 1941. Printed in black and white. Assorted small animals - rabbits, mice, squirrels, hedgehogs - dance in a ring round a Christmas tree. The scene on this card is described by Beatrix Potter in a draft letter from Peter Rabbit (the 'Christmas tree letter') written for the ICAA, see HIL.R.61. There are other copies of this card in the Victoria and Albert Museum collection, see their published catalogue reference 1799, 1811,1812.
