Summary
Copy made by Beatrix of story letter extracts from 5 different letters on a single sheet of paper folded onto booklet form. Page 1 - this extract from an unidentified letter opens 'There is a funny sight here in the field, a very fussy old hen with 7 ducklings...'. Page 2 top - this is a copy of part of a letter to Noel Moore dated 6 April 1896, concerning Tom Thumb riding a mouse, and a visit to the zoo. Page 2 bottom (continued page 3 top) - this is a copy of part of a letter to Noel Moore dated 26 August 1897, concerning a minnow trap. Page 3 bottom - this is a copy of part of a letter to Frida (Winifrede) Moore dated 30 July 1898, concerning snails eggs. Page 4 - this is a copy of an as yet unidentified letter concerning a trip on a steamer, and oysters. The three original letters and the copy that appears on page 4 of this manuscript, are all published in 'Letters to Children' edited by Judy Taylor.
