Summary
Copy made by Beatrix of an original story letter that she wrote to Noel Moore from Cottymeade, Sidmouth, 17 April 1898. It contains two ink drawings of a dog (Stumpy) sitting with paw raised outside a cottage, and a church with a human figure and dog approaching the steps. The original letter is published in 'Letters to Children' edited by Judy Taylor. See also HIL.R.173 and HIL.RD.96, parts of the same original letter.
