Summary
Posthumous portrait miniature potentially based on a photograph from an ivory locket in collection (17912), watercolour on ivory without frame but accompanied by a loose piece of oval glass, Albinia Anne Gibbs (1853 –1874) by Antonio Tomasich Y Haro (Almeria 1820 – Madrid 1890). Albinia is shown in a blue dress with white lace collar, wearing a gold crucifix around her neck. Signed and dated: A. Tomasich 1876. Sitter previously mis-identified as Alice Page Aged 16 years or Mary Albinia Page.
