Summary
Oblong brown canvas gun case. Leather carrying handles and two leather carrying straps attached to handle, and threaded through two carrying strips encircling the whole bag. Each strap has a heavy metal buckle. In the middle of the bag, in gold lettering, A.GIBBS. The base of the bag is leather-stitched and with a leather handle. On the leather is a white paper label reads: NORTH BRITISH RAILWAY / BRISTOL. To the right of the lettering leather is stitched over the canvas, this end having canvas side flaps, three heavy metal buckles and three leather straps. The two side flaps also have a buckle and strap fastening. Evidence of previous labels (four) like the one above.
