Summary

Silver on brass sanctus bell, dome shaped bell with large ring handle. The side of the bell is open fretwork design of small round holes and star shapes; inside are three small bells with clappers, each bell is of different size giving three individual tones. The silver is worn showing about fifty per cent of the base metal.

Acquired with the estate in 1946 from the Trustees of the 9th Duke of Newcastle
