Summary
A joined oak credence table, English, probably early 20th century. For holding sacred vessels during a service, with a panelled front and sides, the front with a pierced quatrefoil roundel, raised on stile feet. Probably supplied during the last phase of furnishings commissioned between 1912-1922.

Acquired with the estate by the National Trust in 1946 from the Trustees of the 9th Duke of Newcastle
