Print, mezzotint, William Hucks (d.1740) (after John Vanderbank the younger) by John Faber the younger (Gravenhage 1684 – London 1756). Black and white mezzotint of man. Inscription reads - I. VANDERBANK pinxt. 1729. I. Faber fecit 1737/WM. Hucks Esqr. On sticky label on back is handwritten - corridor outside Lady W bedroom. Label in black print inside decorative box reads - FROST AND REED/BRISTOL CLIFTON/CLARE STREET. 47 QUEEN/S ROAD. [Central crest separates writing] PICTURE FRAME MAKERS ARTISTS COLOURMEN and /ESTABLISHED/PRINT SELLERS 1808 PICTURE DEALERS/ No....date....In large mount and framed in mahogany with inner gilt frame.
