Summary
Black and white engraving of hunting scene titled; THE MEET AT BADMINTON. Portrays huntsmen on horseback, spectators, dogs with Badminton house, trees and parkland. Below title in printed script; To His Grace the Duke of Beaufort KG and C and C / This engraving from the original picture / is by permission / most respectfully dedicated by His Grace's much obliged and most obedient servant / LONDON, PUBLISHED JANY 1 1847 BY HENRY GRAVES AND CO PUBLISHERS IN ORDINARY TO HER MAJESTY AND HRH THE PRINCE ALBERT, 6, PALL MALL / ENGRAVED BY WILLIAM GILLER / PAINTED BY WILLIAM and HENRY BARRAUD. Whole engraving with wooden gilt surround, then encased in walnut frame with glass front.
