Summary
One of a set of three 'Wilton' shape goblets by Laurence Whistler engraved in 1957 depicting Trevethy Quoit in Cornwall - a tomb whose great coping stone has sunk at one end and reared up at the other. Nine thorn trees gesture in perspective.
Provenance
Transferred to Wessex Region by Kent and East Sussex Region in 1993.
