Summary
Base to a white oval porcelain tureen with two handles. Handles painted dark blue and edged in gold. Dark blue band edged in gold around rim above a geometric pattern in gold. Another band of gold geometric patterning around foot. On the base is printed in black a motif featuring a lion and crown under which is written: ROYAL DOULTON / ENGLAND. Also on the base is hand painted in blue: 2. Crack on base and small crack on rim.
