Summary
Oval white porcelain lid decorated around the rim with a dark blue band edged with narrow gilt bands and a row of gold dots. Has a scroll shaped knob in centre decorated with blue and gilt banding and gold patterning. Cut-out for spoon at one end. Stamped on underside in brown with a crown and below it: T. GOODE & CO / LONDON. Also stamped with the number S1406 in red. Crack across cut-out end repaired with 5 metal staples. Five chips on underside of rim.
