Summary
White china plate. The rim has a ridged edge outlined in gold. Inside this is a fine gold line, then a broad, deep blue band and then a fine gold line. Inside these is a gold Gothic pattern of dots and interwoven arches. The centre of the plate is plain white. Base is marked in brown - Soliar Ware / SIMPSONS (POTTERS) LTD / COBRIDGE /ENGLAND.
