Summary
Small porcelain teapot with white background, possibly Chinese or Japanese. Scenes on each side include two figures, one seated with blue fan and one standing in purple (a geisha?) with pink flowers on either side of figures. Behind and above the figures are two buildings on a hillside and around the rim is wisteria with hanging fronds. The handle, spout and rim are terracotta coloured with gold decoration. The spout is chipped on edge. The base is marked with six characters arranged in two columns.
