Summary
Print, The Three Eldest Children of Charles I (left to right: Prince Charles, later King Charles II, James, Duke of York, later King James II and Princess Mary Henrietta, Princess Royal, later Princess of Orange) after Sir Anthony Van Dyck (Antwerp 1599 - London 1641) (see the painting in the Drawing Room over the mantelpiece NT20906). Two labels on the backboard of the print with the following information. The first label, positioned centrally, with Galérie Royale de Windsor Castle, Anton Van Dyck, Portrait de trois enfants de Charles I. The second label below the first has the following information, Army and Navy Co-operative Society, Ltd, 105 Victoria St. Westminster, SW. No 5 Dept Fine Art Section, Oil Paintings cleaned, restored and relined. Engravings cleaned and repaired. Every description of gilding, picture frames, guirandoles, furniture etc, etc. Order No C 3421.
