Summary
Loose pieces of gilding including a fragment of gilded wood in the shape of a Rams Horn detached from a gilded torchere now displayed in the Yellow Drawing Room, acanthus decoration similar to moulding on picture frame 'Crackshot' by Tissot, 4 curved fragments with metal armatures with green wallpaper on reverse, a gilded block with stylised flower design similar to one attached to Dining Room ceiling, gilded swag decoration with flowers and leaves, a square piece of gilding with flowerheads and leaves, 3 small pieces of flat gilded picture fillet, 3 sections of gilded plaster flowerheads with raised edging, a gilded flowerhead with foliage and detached part, sections of gilded slips of various lengths, 40 small pieces of gilding of various finishes and ages

Part of the Bambridge Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1976 by Mrs Elsie Bambridge (1896-1976)
