Summary
Carriers cart. Built c.1890 by Fortin and Sons, Sawston, Cambs. Used by A.R. Chapman of Whittlesford, Cambs, to take people and produce from surrounding villages to Cambridge market. A canvas hood would have covered passengers and goods in bad weather. The driver's foot brake applied to rear right-hand wheel. Sprung, dished narrow wheels.
