Summary
Gouache on paper, 'Bonnie': A Longhorn Cow, by James Lynch (b.Hitchen, Hertfordshire 1965), signed, lower right: J. Lynch 89. Ash Bonnie, born 26 November 1983, one of the 60-strong Ash herd of Longhorn cows at Wimpole, was Breed Champion at the Royal Show in 1989 and shown by the Wimpole Home Farm Manager, Bernard Hartshorn. Farm has all records and rosettes, etc. In the background is the Gothic Ruin designed by Sanderson Miller. Painted frame with gilt inset.
