Summary
An upholstered daybed Ottoman, English, late 19th century, the castors stamped 'BARKERS PATENT', so possibly by Albert Barker of New Bond Street. With one raised end, the seat lifting to reveal a vacant compartment, with gilt brass hinges and catch. Upholstered throughout in buttoned cream and red cotton in a flame pattern.
