Summary
Three parcel-gilt and polychrome oak curtain poles, Victorian, circa 1865, supplied by John G. Crace, the faceted poles with nine bead ornamented collars along the length and quatrefoil roundels to each end, bearing the letter G on a blue ground and terminating in fleur-de-lys finials. Part of the original fittings of the library designed by John Norton.
