Summary
A cardboard box with a lizard skin-effect cover in black and cream, with 'PATIENC'E embossed in gold on the lid. Contains two sets of used miniature playing cards - March, 1952, Sp. A. Modiano, Trieste, Republica Italiana, Lire: Due Cento. Court cards in Italian Cavalier style costumes.
Provenance
Part of the Bambridge Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1976 by Mrs Elsie Bambridge (1896-1976).
