Summary
Plasterwork ceiling, c1580, decorated with a geometric strapwork pattern with central cartouche containing undiscernible initials, possibly HSV. Surrounded by Tudor Roses, portcullis, Fleur de Lys and shields with three feathers. Probably by the same hand as plaster ceilings at Wilderhope Manor and Upton Cressett Hall.
