Summary
A mid-Victorian oak gong frame carved with stylised decoration on four arched legs decorated with rosette on an octagonal base. Accompanied by its hammered brass gong and Malacca gong striker.
Provenance
bought at Christie's in December 1908, then Purchased from the estate of the late Lord Wraxall with the assistance of the NHMF and donations from members and supporters.
