Pewter hot water plate, one-piece, with circular filling hole and hinged rectangular lid; two curved swing handles; base with s.r.m. edge and massive fillet (standing) ring
Marks and inscriptions
Under side of base, finely done, the touch and hallmarks of Samuel Cocks 11.3.1819, Y (Cott.1004) abd flanking the touch, two large engraved X's with traces of crowns above.
