Summary
An oak and chestnut form, or long stool, English/French, in 17th century style, the top probably 17th century. The edge-moulded top on above rails with edge-moulded bottom edges, and raised on four splayed and stop-chamfered supports, joined by simple end stretchers and a later central, flat, dovetailed stretcher.
