Summary
Coloured print on paper from woodblock, Quai St Ann, Bruges, Yoshijirô Urushibara (1888-1953) after Sir Frank William Brangwyn, RA (Bruges 1867 – Ditchling 1956), signed in pencil Y. Urushibara (with seal) and Frank Brangwyn. A scene showing the canal running through Bruges with a row of poplar trees along the embankment. Mounted in off white card in a rectangular wooden frame with traces of gilding. From Bruges by Yoshijiro Urushibara; one of a series of wood engravings in the Japanese manner, after drawings by Frank Brangwyn with poems by Laurence Binyon. (Edition of 50).

Claimed from the estate of Lady Elizabeth Brunner in 2003 by Barnabas Brunner and gifted to the National Trust in October 2021.
