Summary
Staffordshire flatback model of highwayman Tom King (d.1737) mounted on pale brown horse, wearing blue coat with purple tricorn hat and black boots. Horse and rider travelling to left, with King facing forward over left shoulder, reins held in right hand. "TOM KING" painted in raised black letters around base above single line of gilt. Nineteenth century.
