Summary

Train of Benares ivory silk. Circa 1905. Gauze woven in metal thread with scattered boteh, silver thread border and scalloped at one end. Silk lining (shattered). Oriental textile.

Purchased from the estate of the late Lord Wraxall with the assistance of the NHMF and donations from members and supporters.
