Summary
Left foot on plinth, part of over life-size heroic statue wearing a chlamys and baldric, preserved in three fragments. First to second century AD. The statue was once an imposing work showing a strapping male physique. The muscular male wears o only a baldric strap that passes diagonally from left hip to right shoulder. It is visible on both fragments. A chlamys rested on the right shoulder and fell down behind the right shoulder, probably wrapping the arm that was held akimbo; there is a projection of marble in the right side that suggest the lower arm, hand, and drapery touched the right side. The left arm also appears to have been lowered. The foot is well renderedand shows with on the right leg.
