Summary
1908, 'the vallum and fosse of Avebury on the east and north-east, looking northwards. The road in the foreground makes a breach through the east vallum. The material of the stone wall was no doubt the result of vandalism in the circles. Photographed in early morning light.' from notes: v1.10 the S rampart with pond and road looking N.
