Also marked 12585 (ink); noted in original catalogue as 'a very unusual type; the presumed butt end is formed like an end scraper but unworked; the pointed end is worked delicately; traces of previous flaking exists and show yellow grey patination; upper face covered with cortex'; the cortex is unusual, very dark and dense, with a yellow layer just beneath it. Period: Neolithic
