Summary
Wide, rectangular black metal uniform trunk with hinged lid. The lid has two metal labels secured to the surface. The smaller label embossed, H.POOLE (and) Co. / ARMY (and) NAVY / TAILORS / 36, 37, 38 (and) 39, / SAVILE ROW / LONDON W. The larger metal label, rivetted to the case engraved, Rt. Hon the / Lord Wenlock GCST GCIE KCR. The remains of a paper label at the top right corner reads, G.W.R / BRISTOL / TEMPLE MEADS. There are two carrying handles, one at each end and one handle to the front, with two securing sliding pins at either end. Associated with uniform NT18492.
