Summary
Black wool full length dress trousers with heavy gold braiding down each leg seam, horn buttons at the waist and leather foot straps. Part of the uniform / court dress worn by Sir Arthur Lawley during his time as Governor of Western Australia 1901 to 1902, Lieutenant-Governor the Transvaal 1902 to 1905 and Governor of Madras 1906 to 1911.
