Summary
Mid-Victorian oak half tester bed, attributed to Collier and Plucknett. The canopy carved with rosette filled lunettes supported by square channelled posts and spiral turned columns, each with foliate capitals and surmounted by foliate carved panels.The headboard has plain and bobbin filled panels. The footboard has a bobbin supported rail with ball and lion carved finials, surmounted, turned and channelled foliate square posts and with moulded panels below. The side rails rosette carved and stop fluted. Includes a box spring and mattress.
