Summary
The album contains platinum prints and one silver gelatin print in an embossed leather album with floral gilt end papers and gilt edged pages each holding four prints [not all filled]. Images are inserted by slots in the page. All pages are cream with staining/discolouration/foxing, end papers mint green, cover burgundy. All images captured by GB Shaw: images from GB and Charlotte Shaw's visit to Augustus Rodin at his villa in Meudon; images of Paris and the unveiling of 'The Thinker' and setting up of the Rodin Museum at Meudon; images of London; images of Cornwall; portraits of Lillah McCarthy, Harley Granville-Barker and Charlotte Shaw Mouslford-on-Thames; images of a dancing bear; images of a hot air balloon; and images of windmills. Please note: the album images do not have measurements in order to avoid unnecessary handling/removal of prints, all untrimmed and approximately 10.6 by 8.1 cm. W by H. For the same reason not all have been removed to check the verso's.

The Shaw Collection. The house and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust by George Bernard Shaw (1856-1950) together with George Bernard Shaw's photographic archive.
