NT 17121

Summary

Automatic safety fire escape apparatus consisting of a circular metal reel containing a length of rope terminating in two flat canvas loops, the whole attached to the wall by means of a flat metal plate with closed metal hook. Details around the edge of the reel read: AUTOMATIC - DAVY - SAFETY - FIRE ESCAPE. Instructions for use are given within a brown triangle on the front of the reel below which the manufactures name and address reads: JOHN KERR (and) CO (M/C) LTD / Fire Protection and Safety / Engineers / NORTHWICH / Ches.
