Summary
A cover for one of two circular two-handled écuelles, part of a forty four piece Sèvres later-decorated composite dessert-service painted with bouquets of flowers, the borders reserved with gilt feuilles-de-choux panels of birds in landscapes on pale blue grounds enriched with gilt foliage and flowers.
Provenance
Manufactured at the Sèvres Porcelain Manufactory in France. Loaned to The National Trust by The Croome Heritage Trust in December 2007.
