Summary

Wallpaper sample - Large stylised floral design, block printed in blue on a white ground. Although clearly influenced by Morris, I have not identified this as part of his oeuvre. Its fluency and dynamism suggests designs of the 1880's and 1890's as the fashion moved into Art Nouveau and the work of William Shand Kydd 1864-1936 or Essex and Company, (late 19th century).
