Summary
A compressed air cylinder washed up on the beach at Blakeney. From a V2 flying bomb, it is one of a pair of wire-bound compressed air cylinders which would have been located in tandem in the rear section of the bomb. The compressed air provided power for the guidance system gyroscopes, flight controls and pressurized the fuel tank. Large metal ball with strapping around and at least 2 pointed nozzles/spikes.
