Summary
Watercolour on paper, 'Bedales School', by Luigi Alfonzo Rocco Innes Meo (1886-1967), signed and dated, bottom right: Luigi Meo March 1931. The painting shows the Assembly Hall at Bedales School, designed by Ernest Gimson (1864-1919) and built in 1911. Innes Meo was a master at Bedales School and this painting was purchased by Basil Gimson (1887-1953) who studied and later taught at the school until his retirement, becoming Second Master (Deputy Head) in 1933.

Watercolour by Luigi Alfonzo Rocco Innes Meo (1886-1967), 1931. Purchased by Basil Gimson (1887-1953). Thence by descent and on loan to the National Trust since 2012.
