Double bed, oak, with lattice ends, Sidney Barnsley (1865-1926), c.1899. Purchased by Sydney (1860-1938) and Jane ‘Jeannie’ Gimson (1859-1923) for the landing bedroom at Stoneywell, Leicestershire on 11 June 1900 for £6 10s as recorded in Sydney's expense book and a receipt held at The Wilson, Cheltenham (2006.5.284b).

Bed made by Sidney Barnsley (1865-1926), c.1899. Purchased by Sydney (1860-1938) and Jane ‘Jeannie’ Gimson (1859-1923) for the landing bedroom at Stoneywell, Leicestershire on 11 June 1900 for £6 10s. Thence by descent and on loan to the National Trust since 2012.
