An ash ladderback, rush seated chair, c.1900, designed and made by Ernest Gimson (similar to the set of chairs in the Dining Room, but the rails are further apart).
Provenance
On loan to the National Trust from Donald Gimson, last owner of Stoneywell Cottage.
