Summary
Ladderback chair, ash with rush seat, designed and made by Ernest Gimson (1864-1919) with rushing undertaken by Baines, Leicester, c.1900. It was re-rushed by Neville Neal in 1976, and later by Laurence Neal. This chair is similar to the set in the Dining Room at Stoneywell, although the rails have been placed further apart.
