Caption

Made out of walnut, this double bed sits in the main bedroom of the cottage. It was made by Sidney Barnsley, circa 1913 and may have been a wedding present for Basil and Muriel Gimson. Basil was the second owner of Stoneywell, inheriting from his father Sydney.
