Provenance

Chair made by Ernest Gimson (1864-1919), c. 1912. Purchased by Basil Gimson (1887-1953) for Five Oaks, Hampshire and later furnished to Stoneywell, Leicestershire. Thence by descent and on loan to the National Trust since 2012.
