Summary
Lamp burner. A burner for a locomotive oil lamp for fitting above the smokebox on one of the Hunslet locomotives used on the Penrhyn Quarry between the quarries and the port. The reservoir is of welded steel in a U-form and is mounted on a steel base. A brass holder for carrying the wick is attached but the screwed top is missing. A screwed brass plug for filling is fitted to one corner. The top of the burner has a tongue attached, onto which a reflector is positioned.
