Summary
Railway lamp. The body of a three-aspect warning lamp with a semi-circular top piece. There are red circular moulded glasses to three of the sides, mounted in steel supporting rings. Access to the burner is from the bottom. The door is missing but the lamp body has the remains of the hinge and catch. There is no burner. On top of the lamp is a curved carrying handle of flat steel section. The handle has two slots in the top and is riveted to the top of the lamp body. The lamp body is of steel, painted red. The supporting rings for the glasses were white but have been overpainted black or silver.
