Summary
Railway locomotive. A 600mm. gauge (converted from 1ft. 10 3/4in., 578mm. gauge) 0-4-0ST steam locomotive, 'Hugh Napier', built by the Hunslet Engine Co. Ltd., No.855, in 1904. One of the six 'large quarry class' locomotives, it is cabless and has a saddle tank extending to the rear of the smokebox. The wheels are within the frames. A brass dome cover is fitted, and the safety valves also sit on a brass housing. The livery is black lined red and gold, and some components are finished in red. The motion is of polished steel, and the locomotive has been renewed to full working order.
