Summary

Velocipede. A 4ft. (1219mm.) gauge man-powered velocipede used by workmen on the Padarn Railway between Llanberis and Port Dinorwic. Known as 'Arthur', it has eight seats and four cranked handles to be turned to provide power to the axles by gearing. The vehicle is unsprung. The livery is maroon with black components, grey coves to th gearing, and natural wood seats and floor.
