Summary
Lamp burner. A burner for a railway lamp, with a cylindrical steel tank painted silver, a screwed brass filler, and a plated brass holder for the wick. The holder is fitted with a screw for adjusting the wick, and a length of wick is attached. The burner is for paraffin oil, described as 'petroleum' on the reservoir. It is removed downwards below the lamp and has a brass securing knob.
