Summary
Railway lantern. A maroon painted circular railway lantern, dating from 1918, with wire-framed sides containing four clear glass flat panels in rectangular format. The front is flat and opens for access to the burner. There is a smaller diameter circular chimney with hinged lid abov. A wire handle with wooden grip is fitted.
